Performance Ensembles

Richard Gard is the director of several performance ensembles including:
St Thomas More Chapel Choir, The Good Samaritones, New Haven Ballet Orchestra, Bruckner Choir, and The Richard Gard Singers.

Richard’s ensembles specialize in one-on-a-part performances of major works, including Handel Messiah, Hindemith Requiem, Vivaldi Gloria, Mozart Requiem, Bach Brandenburg concerti, and Durufle Requiem.  The specialized arrangements created can enrich and enliven ceremonies and celebrations while keeping the size of performing forces scaled to the venue.

The Richard Gard Singers have performed with several popular artists including Kenny Rogers, Andy Williams, and Kenny Loggins, and as the opera chorus for Waterbury Palace Opera. Production credits include recordings and live performances for Los Angeles Public Radio, the Oakdale Theater, the Mohegan Sun Arena, Foxwoods MGM Grand, the Palace Theater, Waterbury Symphony Orchestra, Carnegie Hall, Symphony Hall, and the Hartford Symphony.
